I'm Alice. I generally like stuff.

I love, and am very passionate about, TV. I think I good TV show can change the world.
What I really care about is understanding a show, why it works, why it doesn't. (Basically I'm a giant nerd.)
I deeply love fandom and I will get very involved with a particular story for some time. While these obsessions used to last years, they're now extremely intense for six months and then die down a bit.

I'm a journalist by trade: I write about comics, TV, tech, games, movies, music... whatever. And I LOVE my job. (How many people do you know who can say that?) But what I say here are all my own opinions, and this blog is far more personal than professional.
